Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what the status is with
the Arcanis: World of Shattered Empires RPG Core Book.
The meat of the book is complete, playtested and being edited - and by
meat, I mean just about everything is written with the exception of a
few tables and a couple of entries in the Nations section that I'm
finishing up. Which means that all the rules - from Tier 1 through Tier
5 is 100% complete!
This is one BIG book with all new material which should, once it's laid
out fall somewhere between 384 to 412 pages! We Hope! - Actually we're
worried it could go longer!
We just got the cover, (painted by Steve Argyle -
http://www.steveargyle.com) and you're in for a treat!
We're also finalizing our new and very easy to read layout. Once the
last few pieces of art come in and I turn in a couple of those Nation's
entries (primarily the new Abessian Dominion and the re-vamped Western
Lands) it will head off to layout and then to the printer.
Unless some unforeseen calamity occurs, the book will available for
pick up at Origins. We'll also be opening up Pre-orders in a few weeks.
I'm truly excited about this tome! We've all worked hard on it for over
3 years now and our play test groups have gone above and beyond their
duty to make sure that the final product was the best it could possibly
be!
