Also of note: The decendants of the Ven val'Sosi, the Pyros Morellia. I am not sure what is going to happen with them in regards to Ss'ressen with Val powers, and I'll leave them off (or as part of the val'Sosi) until we get more information (or Henry decides to drop a hint. . . ).

In addition, wasn't there an Elorii val'Sosi? I recall hearing that the character was 'retired', but I am not sure how 'in universe' that is.

I always wondered what was going to happen to the 6 val'Sosi characters. They are forever written in the history of the game. I figured the Elorii val'Sosi would be stuck as a val'Sosi forever. Thus if he/she died, would come back as one. But wouldn't be able to breed val'Sosi Elorii.

Also of note, we know a little bit about the Valinor which spawned some of the Val lines:

The val'Assante' were (likely) spawned by Manaetas, the Pride of Illiir.

The val'Sosi were spawned by the Serenity of Beltine, who was (IIRC) trapped in the Flask of Olmas since the God's War.

The val'Vasik were spawned by Xabal, the Patience of Sarish.

The val'Bauciz are said to have done something horrible in their creation which is one reason they are hated. However, it is known that the Valinor that they did it to was known as Mish, the Shadow of Sarish.

From their powers, I wouldn't be surprised if at least the val'Virdan were decended from the Judgement of Nier. If Manetas spawned the Assante', it would be likely the JoN (being one of the most powerful Valinor) would also be involved.

Likewise, if the God's sent their most powerful Valinor to 'sire' Val families, I wouldn't be surprised if Loshnek (sp?, IIRC the Cunning of Sarish?) Was involved in the val'Mehan.

Judging by their reaction to the Storm, it is entirely possible and likely that the val'Tensen's are decended from the Wrath of Hurrian.

Also, more supposition, but it was said elsewhere (need text confirmation) that the ul'Tang are Larissan, and the ul'Zhang are Hurrianite.

The ul'Droxus seem by the name and the single référence I could find to be a Coryani Ul family. Either that, or Khitan is made up of many cultures, and some of them joined the Coryani Legions.

Also of note, the Sarishan ul'Tai were banished from the First Imperium to the Infernal Plane for not acquiesing to the Emperor's demands to alter the Imperium's dynastic contract. They are presumably still there.
