So, still have problems to understand why I couldn't use any of that second style's martial techniques - what am I missing? And could I use normally used martial techniques? Thanks, Peter

You can only be in one stance at a time. A fighting style is a stance. So are Defensive Stance, Forward Stance, Balanced Blades, Battle Trance, Reluctant Stance, and Stable Stance.

The Rage Within, and to a limited extent Reluctant Stance, at the exceptions to this rule.

So when using The Rage within I can also Harnischfechten, and with thus probalby tier 1,2 and 4 abilities. But why not Deflect Attack Martial Technique according to Pedro?
But also, could I use another martial technique, e.g., Sweeping strike?

I don't know why you would be restricted from using any maneuver while under Furious Rage or The Rage Within.

Got it. As I am thinking of creating a Nol Dappan with The rage within and Harnischfechten, could he still be grappling and use weapon tricks (Furious Rage doesn't mention any of those)? Esp., looking at tier 2 for Harnischfechten, a raging dwarf grappling and then using his flamberge while pinning an opponent, would be cool.
Could I use any other Martial Techniques learnt?
Problems to understand why I couldn't use any Martial techniques, so please enlighten me. Thanks, Peter

While grappling, the only weapon option is Punish, all Punish does is weapon damage.

Sorry, just meant when raging, if you can use any martial technique.

For grappling it's clear, just doing damage - but using a d12 for might, and later on d12+2 and a weapon which does d10 or d12 later damage while being engulfed in flames doing d10 damage against an attacker. And having a tactical edge for grappling.
Just for punish, is it weapon only or weapon and might?
