So, where can I find more information on the Nol Dappan dwarves. Wanted to find if they would be comfortable on a horse, or, if they would more follow the typical stereotype of a dwarf and use a pony - to carry goods and only ride occasionally. And prefer cross-bows and thrown weapons over bows. The more information the better, thanks, Peter

Basically, the Nol Dappans are like the Nierites of Erduk and, to a lesser extent, Canceri. They are famous Berserkers, and by the look of them tend to shun the use of Ranged weapons beyond things they can throw. They want to get up close and personal to their enemies. As such, they probably do not have THAT MANY Cavalry. However, they are located in the Hinterlands, so having Horses is probably not that uncommon. I would go for a Riding Horse, which you get off of for battle, or a Light Warhorse if you insist on getting a horse.

That helps, thanks. Was considering bow or thrown weapons - so it will be thrown weapons then. And a warhorse, pricy.
