When I get around to writing them, yes...for now.

I may very well require weapon training claws if they seem too powerful, or may make the hero choose a sub-category.

1) Path of the Scales Tier III grants you an additional MI die to your Tail Swipe damage. Since Tail Swipe is essentially Trip Foe, and Trip Foe deals no damage, do I deal a None(MI) now when I Tail Swipe (Trip Foe with my tail)?

Correct you would gain (Mi) damage when using a normal tail swipe w/o a tail bracer.
To clarify, this is not on all attacks with a tail?

2) With a Tail Bracer on, can I use a different part of my tail and use it as unarmed instead of the Tail Bracer? Thus I can switch to Pugilist or Tail Swipe?

The tail bracer is a "unarmed weapon" much like the Cestus and the Gauntlet... so you can switch between a claw (or punch) and a tail attack at any time.. you just trade some extra damage for +1 speed.
To clarify, if I have a Tail Bracer on I can still use my regular tail/Pugilist? If I have a Gauntlet on, I can still use my Pugilist?

3) Can I get a spiked Tail Bracer?

Should not be a problem but in the living campaign you have to go "by the book" I may have to add some "weapon and armor modifications" to forged in magic II if I have time to write them all up. Confused
Gotcha. As John said, it needs the Versatile trait, or to be a separate weapon

Noted. Thanks! Tail Bracer does require its own Weapon Training, however? There's a Ss'ressen in my group that would love to have to take only Weapon Training (Unarmed) for both Unarmed and Tail Bracer.

I'm sure they would, but alas I cannot gain Weapon Proficiency (Greatsword) by taking Weapon Proficiency (Flamberge) as they are two different, though related weapons.

Which is why I thought they would be separate, but I am to understand that Pedro has said that all natural weapons share the same Weapon Training for now.

All natural weapons are the same. Gauntlets, Tail Bracers, Cestus and etc have their own Weapon Training and are not natural weapons, they just all use the skill, Melee (Unarmed).

That was what I originally was saying. Apparently I got turned around in the discussion Smile I was equating the question about Weapon Training and tails with Weapon Training Tail Bracer, since until now there hasn't really been any specific mention of tails other than Tail Swipe.

Guess it's cleared up...mostly Smile

Correct

Nope you are using a weapon which uses the unarmed skill.. not an unarmed attack.

Nope, may be something you can buy and add to the item, like armor spikes from d20
