Hello Folks,

I've been away from Arcanis for the last few years, as I've been living in a remote area without any gaming groups. My wife and I will be moving closer to Winnipeg this summer, and I'm curious whether anyone knows of Arcanis players in the area.

From what I can see, there aren't any Harvesters in Manitoba at this time. I've hardly played since the 3.5 campaign ended, but I'm interested in giving the new system a try.

Thanks for your help, hoping to scratch my D&D itch.

Akira

Hello!

As the closest (Canadian) Harvester to you (for now, anyway) I can tell you that from my understanding Winnipeg doesn't have a very big or, at the very least, vocal community. I was trying to get in touch with PrarieCon for possibly having tables for next year and they haven't responded to me yet.

That being said, if you are ever in the neighbourhood of Saskatoon, there is a large group here of some two-dozen players.

Thanks for the quick response!

I'll keep your Saskatoon group in mind, but unfortunately that is quite a hike for us. It is nice to know that Brandon has a yearly convention...this year won't work for us, but maybe I can help pressure them for some Arcanis content next year. I did have some experience running conventions 'back in the day'.

This is good! I (alas!) won't be the Saskatchewan Harvester for much larger as I just accepted a new job in Edmonton, but I am trying to organize some more gaming content in the Saskatoon/Regina/Brandon triangle (only limited success). If you wish to try to help this, I'd be willing to help and give you some contacts here in the city!

Brandon is still going to be about a four hour drive for us. Short enough for conventions, but too far for any regular games. I think that we are going to be limited to Winnipeg and a small area north of the city.
