With the initial GenCon event schedule posted, I noticed that PCI's schedule include an Arcanis BI, a soft point from Origins, and a Rotted Capes adventure. Since this is just an initial listing of events with more to come, I was curious if any more Arcanis events will be offered. Just checking so I can start putting a schedule together and know what I should keep an eye out for.

I was wondering about this too. I wanted to relieve pressure on my Origins Schedule and was wondering what and how many new slots would be at GenCon and how many repeat events would be there.

Origins is usually PCI's big show. I was actually surprised to see a BI at GenCon Smile

Ditto here - was looking to see if there might be slots for open mods. I think I'll still be missing a SP or two.

Origins is m Arcanis show, and GenCon has been my "try other things show" the last few years. I'm glad to see a BI at GenCon even if it means less "other games" for me.

So the Soft Point currently up for GenCon is the one that shall be at Origins?

Prereg was today and I manged to get the BI, SP10, and Rotted Capes intro. Pretty happy about all that - especially since I can't make Origins.

Unfortunately, Fortress of the Dead was full by the time my Wish List processed. (so was Mistborn, but I figured as much).

BTW - Harliquinn, thanks for the post on GenCon RE: it being your "try other things show." I took the advice after getting my Paradigm fix and am looking forward to checking out some new things.

Sounds good. Glad you got some of the games you wanted. You'll have a great time! I couldn't fit in the Rotted Capes Intro but I did get into the adventure.

No that is incorrect.

Due to a lack of available Soft Points, the Dark Face of War is the Soft Point being run at Origins as well as Gen Con.

Doh, well guess I'll be getting that slot back Smile Wish I'd known earlier, but it's likely the game I would have filled that slot with would have sold out anyways *laugh*.
