What's the status on Orders of Solomon and On Silver Wings? Are we still looking a GenCon-ish release? Any chance for a sneak preview? I'm curious, does OoS focus only on the Orders from the core book, or are there any new Native American orders in the mix? And as for OSW, I haven't even the slightest clue what it's about, short of being a witch hunter adventure. Any chance we can get a sneak at the back cover copy?

Both books are at the printers and will be released at Origins (this month). If you don't get to that show, we'll have copies at Gen Con, of course. It should hit stores a few weeks afterward.
Quite frankly, the Orders of Solomon is the best book we've ever done for Witch Hunter. If you're the type of person who loves a good read, history or ancient conspiracies and revelations, then this is the book for you. Oh, and there's also a ton a crunch specific to each Order.
OoS focuses on all 13 main Orders (those introduced in the Core Book and Blessed and the Damned). Each Order gets an in depth look and, as a player, you couldn't ask for a better primer on the question, "What's my Order all about?" Not to mention the revelation of each Order's Dark Secret!
As for On Silver Wings - its a 32 page adventure which takes the Witch Hunters out into the Caribbean and onto an island with a horrible secret and menace for the Witch Hunters to uncover and, of course, defeat.
I'll see about getting the back blurb for you soon.

So Orders of Solomon is going to be the quintessential "players companion" for Witch Hunter? Very cool. Will these books be released in PDF simultaneously, or will it take a few months like B&D?
Also, Silver Wings is going to be another printed adventure? Are you guys planning on any more PDF only adventures like Tide of Darkness?

No, the PDF will be available a few months after release; probably around September or October.

Hmmm...Tom, Tides of Darkness is a printed adventure. Granted, we made it available on PDF as well, but we're selling it right now on our webstore as a fully printed adventure, just like Gates of Flame, Child's Game and On Silver Wings.

Huh. Well I'll be. I could have sworn it was released as PDF only (or at least initially was). All the better. Good to see a company releasing published (and printed) adventure material at a regular rate.

Is Orders of Solomon out? My game store says there is no listing for it.
I ask cuz' I want. Badly. I mean it. Really.
Like now.
Or even before now.
Like yesterday.
OK maybe that's a little over the top.
But I do want. |

| Its not turned up through UK distributors however and ordering from the Paradigm from overseas is not an additional expense that can just be ignored. Still can't wait to get my hands on it and will snap it up as soon as it makes it over here. |

Hello everyone,
Yes, Orders of Solomon was released at Origins. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view) we just about sold out all our copies, leaving us with less than a couple dozen in our warehouse - not enough to send to Distributors.
As such, we are re-printing the book fairly soon. However, if you'd like it now - you can buy directly from our website for as long as supplies last.
Nigel - email Eric directly as he may have a way of shipping to the UK for a much lower price. (ericwiener@comcast.net).
All in all, I can honestly say its one of the best books we've produced for Witch Hunter. The writing is crisp and snappy, the revelations on many of the Orders are eye-popping and each of the 13 Orders have some new game mechanics created (and accessible) solely by members of that Order. For example: the Lightbringers now have access to a new magical Tradition known as Technomancy.
As I read the initial manuscript I was enthralled by it - and I'm sure you will too!

Hi Henry
Thanks for the info, Eric has indeed been very helpful. Looking forward to seeing the book. You should definitely do bigger print runs :0. Seriously though, it's great to see Witch Hunter selling so well and looking forward to playing Shattered Empires, which we start soon. |
