Before a squire is knighted is he/she allowed to wear the armour of a Knight (ie plate)? Or would they just not be allowed to display any heraldry until Knighted? I know historically in some cultures the spurs were awarded upon being raised. _________________ Yes, I'm THAT Kiirnevae. The one that was rescued first from the Sorcerer King's clutches. Let me respond to your question with this observation of the characters in the campaign:
The VAST majority of Squire Background PCs that I've seen all had Heirloom heavy armor. There have been a couple of exceptions, but they have been just that, exceptions. _________________ Valeriano Innocenzo Camillo de Larissa la Galletti

There is no restriction on the ownership or use of armor based upon social class in Milandir. Squires can most certainly wear Heirloom armor. Frankly, with the way the Paths are built, Squire exists mostly as a ready path into the various Knightly orders. _________________ Eric Wiener
