|
|
Now, I might not understand what the Hospitaler really is, but I notice some inconsistencies in its build. As this looks to be a path I would like my val'Ishi to take, some clarification might be beneficial.
Beltinian Hospitaler, p278
Initiate, requirements: Anointed Priest of Beltine (pa) or Holy Champion of Beltine (pa)
Talents: Healing Hands, Lay on Hands, Mercy for All.
If going through Anointed Priest of Beltine, Healing Hands is already granted. Healing hands grants +2 to all Heal action skill rolls and can perform first aid faster.. When is the Heal skill more useful than just casting "Diminish Fatigue". Is this talent to offset not taking Diminish Fatigue?
"Mercy for All" grants a +2 bonus to all Arcanum Action skill rolls when casting a corpus spell that heals wounds or stamina damage. How does this show up? Is this only useful when not casting an adaptation less than your CTN? Also, how does this interact with a talent like Prodigy? AND, this comes at a minus of a potential loss of all spell casting for 24 hours.
Thirdly, in the Master level of Hospitaler, what talents are granted ... "Dedicated Defender" and .. "Devout"?
Thank you,
-Michael |

So taking it twice is beneficial, as you gain the Tier II version of it. You can also use the Heal skill while under strain and not take any damage. Also not every priest(ess) is going to have Diminish Fatigue, although I suspect every Beltine one will.

This would come up when attempting CTN checks, or if any Corpus spell attack and heals it would count to hit as well.
2. Does not stack with Prodigy.
3. Yes. You have a code of honor.

I couldn't tell you what "Devout" means. Check the errata. If there isn't anything mentioned there I would assume it was any Devout talent. _________________ -Devin Redd, Detroit Harvester

iirc, Devout was renamed to Divine Spell Casting when they merged all the individually named arcane casting talents to Arcane Spell Casting. _________________ Matthew Flinn
