The Chronicles of the Shattered Empires campaign needs adventures! If you have a story idea, PLEASE submit them to writing (at) shatteredempires (dot) com

For the best chances of getting approved, your adventure proposal should:
* Be in, near, or otherwise about the core arc (does not apply until Origins 2013)
* Be in a detailed outline that explains the goal(s) of your adventure and how you plan to accomplish them with your encounters. (Max 2 pages for the initial proposal, please)
* Have adventure text in an attachment. (rtf or txt format)
* Allow PCs to be Heroes and affect the outcome of the adventure rather than be pulled towards only 1 possible outcome. (If you have a campaign fiction proposal, please hold onto it until we release those submission guidelines.)

Factors that will hurt your chances of getting approved (not an exhaustive list):
* Resolving major core plot points (reintegrating the Dark Triumverate or Milandric Church back into the Mother Church, propose a lost heir that trumps Osric, reveal "the truth" about a core storyline that you made up yourself, etc)
* Killing off a major NPC or portraying them counter to existing canon
* Using a major villain (Voiceless Ones, the Silence, True Dragons, the Man of a Thousand Eyes) without prior approval from Henry
* Being set in a restricted region (Ymandragore, Elonbe', Seremas, Pirate Isles)
* Having a plot that only becomes clear at the end of a long series. Story arcs are only 2 years long, so more than 2 adventures may not have time to premiere, especially when you factor in time to receive Critical Event Summaries

Authors are encouraged to creature new creatures to include in their adventures. However, these should be original creations, and not be converted over from other copyrighted games or works of fiction.

All we know about the next campaign is that it is set in the Blessed Lands. This means that stories involving the 11 remaining Citadels of the Gods and the First City are probably going to be the main story. However, there are lots of 'grey areas' around the Blessed Lands that can be expanded upon. . .

Khitan (moreso, alas, after the Codex Arcanis is released)

Chauni
Ancient Races (Gar, Issori, Ssethrics, Elorii, Sansho, Saam Ur, etc)
Almeric
First Imperium relics
Sword of the Heavens

Holy Xabal, that's a lot of outlines you guys sent in. We're still working our way through them, but we *will* get back to everyone.

We've also done some streamlining behind the scenes to shorten the edit process (which should mean more adventures).

We have some people who've sent in outlines/hooks, but are not authors themselves, and Team Paradigm plans to start churning out pre-approved outlines/hooks after GenCon for authors that need a little inspiration.

Lastly, we are always looking for more editors (both stat and non-stat), cartographers (we primarily use photoshop, but as long as you can export to jpg/pdf at the end, anything that can take the load off of Pedro would help) and adventure playtesters (groups that can pre-run an adventure on a week or 2's notice, then send us feedback within another week tops).
